Established in 2001, Mitigation Resources specializes in Environmental and Engineering Consulting services for private and public clients throughout Florida.  Our engineers specialize in Natural Systems Engineering, a concept conceived to integrate ecological and engineering principles into a single, interdependent relationship.  We abide by operational principles of fairness, integrity, and quality.

Environmental Consulting & Permitting

Mitigation Resources’ experience is broad and deep, drawing from years of permitting and ecological evaluations from the Florida Panhandle to South Florida.  Our experience includes preliminary site investigations, jurisdictional wetland determinations, listed species surveys and assessments, hydrological analysis, botanical and wildlife inventories, mitigation opportunities and cost analyses, and resource management evaluations and recommendations. Our staff is well-versed in all permitting including conceptual and construction level Environmental Resource Permits, Nationwide 27, Individual Permits, and Mitigation Banking Instruments.

Environmental & Hydrologic Engineering

 Mitigation Resources prides itself as having developed Natural Systems Engineering: engineering which incorporates hydrologic analysis with state-of-the-art modeling and ecological restoration principles.  Most of Florida’s ecosystems are driven by, or depend upon Florida’s two main environmental forces – fire and water.  It is our strong belief that, by restoring historical processes and regimes, ecosystems can recover from long-term environmental alteration.

WETLAND MITIGATION BANKING SPECIALISTS

Mitigation Resources are mitigation banking experts. We have permitted or participated in the development, design, long-term management and monitoring of over fifteen wetland mitigation banks throughout the Florida and the Southeast, representing thousands of acres of conservation lands.  These lands are comprised of diverse habitat, species, restoration needs, and management strategies that showcase the breadth and depth of our experience and expertise.
